Why are remotes the shapes they are? I decided to do a form study to find out. Through research and redesign I came up with seven new remotes. I combined function, ergonomics, aesthetics, and technology. Beginning with ideation sketches, I brainstormed concepts. To bring the concepts to fruition, I went to the shop and made models of the best design for each. To finalize the form, I rendered a model in a possible fabrication. Buttons are in ideation drawings, but purposefully not on models as the focus is forms.
